GME Backdrop

Client GME
Description Conference Backdrop
Year 2006

GME_MoodboardAs a designer it’s great to get an opportunity to play and just see what happens. The client wanted something modern and visually stimulating as a backdrop for them to announce a new service. I didn’t have much time, it was one of those situations where you didn’t really think too much, just “do”, whilst relying on your intuition, experience and judgement to create something that hits the target. I certainly enjoyed creating the visuals for this one :))

FÁS Display

Client FÁS
Description Course Promotion Display
Year 2007

FAS-display-board-2006This was a large backdrop display used by FÁS to promote their interactive media courses. The success of this project relied on finding the “right” image. Once I’d satisfied myself that this was the way to go (and convinced the client the same), I enhanced the image by drawing custom graphic icons to emphasise the interactive media theme.

Esat Enhanced Directory

Client Esat
Description Bus Shelter and DART Campaign
Year 1999

ESAT-DIRECTORY+-bus-shelterAs part of the proposed campaign to announce Esat’s Enhanced Directory, posters were required to push the service into the public eye. Here were two examples I created for bus shelters and DART. My concept revolved around having a catchy/memorable tagline, so I came up with “1-1-8-8-0 All you need to know” which worked in two ways, one, it affirmed the idea that you need to remember that number and, two, that once you rang the number, you’d have access to all you needed to know.

The DART poster concept graphically showed your route and stop off points in getting from the Question to the Answer.

Well… I thought it was clever anyway… :))
