Client Cork & County Advertiser
Year 2009
My first attempt at using WordPress and I have to say I love it, the backend database and my modified layout work really well for this magazine-style blog. I managed to create the exact look and feel I wanted so that the printed magazine’s style transferred seamlessly to the web.
Check out the Coast & Country article in Case Studies for more detailed analysis of the project.

Year 2009
Taking on an online newspaper was quite a challenge but one that has proven to be very enjoyable. It has also accelerated me on my learning curve for creating effective, “Google-friendly” websites. With rapidly changing news and feature content combined with advertising updates, this is a site that will eventually need its own dedicated webmaster. Planning had to be meticulous for this site as well as strong consideration for the overall design, layout and user experience. Things are working out very well to date and my work has received nothing but the highest praise from all.

Client Skibbereen Tool Hire
Year 2008
I had been producing their tool catalogue for the previous 4 years and each time it was said it’d be great to have it online too. So, towards the end of 2008 that wish finally came to fruition and the comprehensive catalogue is up and running.

Ok!

Year 2006
This website had been languishing for a number of years, being passed from person to person without being properly updated. There was a definite need for change, so in 2006 I collaborated with the SDA Committee to create a website that fully addressed all aspects of life in and around the coastal town of Schull. A meticulous and creative plan was put in place and my work adhered to it. The result has received many plaudits from around the world and has even been used as a role model for other similar sites around Ireland. Unfortunately for me, in 2009 a new committee decided to pass control of the site onto someone else.
