Key to Options:
- CMS – A Content Management System allows you to take control of the website content. You can add and edit as you please. The website content is driven by a database and as such requires hosting that runs MySQL5 and PHP5. My CMS of choice is WordPress.
- Blog – This can be used to add new articles to your website. Talk about your services, new offers, whatever you like. Adding content to your site regularly is highly beneficial for your search engine page ranking.
- Slider – This is a mechanism used to highlight particular features or products on your website. Essentially it is a large area displaying a series of images in rotation. These images can also be combined with supporting text.
- Basic Graphics – Minimal graphic design work will be used with this option. Your logo will be added and basic flat colouring options that complement your logo’s colour scheme.
- Extensive Graphics – As the name suggests, the graphic design on the site will be enhanced to give a bespoke final product. This may include use of light and shade, or some texture, along with an enriched colour palette to fully complement your company’s branding.
- Premium Graphics – As above, but more… Every effort will be made to make the graphics on the site unique and ‘pixel perfect’. Every detail will be enhanced to give a luxurious and individual look to your site.
- Pages – Your initial site will consist of a home (landing) page, an ‘about us’ page, a service page, a news page and a contact page. The rest is up to you and what you feel your site needs to convey to your audience/target market.
- Choice of Design – Only by choosing the ‘Deluxe’ option will you get a choice of two initial designs as standard. In order to keep prices affordable for start-up businesses and individuals, I only offer one choice of design on the ‘Budget’, ‘Basic’ and ‘Premium’ options. You can add the design choice package for €500. Having a choice of initial design gives you, the client, more input into the design process. For instance, if you have your own ideas of what you want included, I can incorporate those into the initial design before coding begins.
- Custom Coding – As standard with the ‘Deluxe’ option, custom coding means once the initial visual design is signed off, I begin to turn the visual into a working version on the web. This means coding the design into HTML and CSS, then adapting the code further to accommodate the WordPress content management system which is written in PHP. Approximate Timescales
- Budget – 2 weeks
- Basic – 2 weeks
- Premium – 4 weeks
- Deluxe – 8 weeks
The above timescales allow for the full design time as well as factoring in ‘downtime’ between stages of the process where designs are assessed by the client, feedback is exchanged, information is gathered, photography is commissioned or sourced, hosting is set up, unexpected delays, etc.

Terms & Conditions
- The above pricing table assumes that you already have an identity/logo/branding and will provide same for me to use in the website design. If you do not have a logo identity, or wish to have a new brand created, then I will quote and charge for this extra design service BEFORE website design work can begin.
- I require 50% deposit payment in advance before work commences. Balance to be paid upon successful completion of project. Handover of website control will be given after final payment has been cleared.
- Client is to register and pay for domain and hosting for the site (if not already available). I would recommend the services of Blacknight based in Carlow.
- Client will give me access to the hosting in order for me to set up the final website.
- All working versions of the website will be in isolation, i.e. on my own testing server webspace (hidden from search engines, but visible to client).
- Any work deemed to be extra to what has been quoted will be charged for accordingly. I will notify you before commencing the additional work of any cost involved.
- I do not charge VAT.
