The Road are a four piece ensemble comprised of old hands Freddie White, Noel Barrett and Pat Crowley, with Pat’s son Peter being the ‘not-so-old-hand’ :) They have just released their first track, “The Road I’m On”, which is available to download free from the site.

The site benefits from the excellent photography provided by Stefan Syrowatka, who was kind enough to recommend my own services to the band. Cheers Stefan!

So, my job was to pull all the creative resources together and create not only an attractive and usable website, but also one which band members could maintain themselves. I chose a WordPress solution with a highly modified template. The results of which can be seen right here:

Update July 2011

It appears that band member Freddie White has decided to relocate to Australia, leaving the band’s plans in limbo for the time being.
