The ease-of-use problem was solved by offering a WordPress-powered website, this content management system is simple yet powerful and intuitive. Sorted. I also suggested integrating a live chat module (to be launched soon) to offer their customers interaction and live support.
The landing page layout had to be clear and engaging for visitors. The hierarchy was mapped out during initial discussions with the client and a wireframe sketch of the results was agreed upon before proper design work began. Simply: Strong branding and uncomplicated navigation; reinforce the brand with engaging messages to convey the company’s key products and services; create attractive “buy me now!” product call-to-action buttons; integrate regularly updated features such as announcements, offers and competitions; add a brief company resumé and social networking links.
The result? Hopefully a website that appeals to new and existing customers, that informs and encourages new sales; a website that answers all of the client’s requests in the brief… and more besides.
